FOR RENEWABLE TECHNOLOGY
Under the UK Governments Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme you can receive quarterly cash payments over seven years if you install a renewable technology.
The scheme aiming to encourage the uptake of renewable heat technologies amongst householders, communities, and businesses through financial incentives and contribute towards the 2020 ambition of %12 of heating coming from renewable technologies.
Domestic Renewable Heat Technologies which launched on 9th April 2014 provides financial support to the owner of the Home for seven years.
To be eligible for RHI payments of £12.400 the RHI must be listed as a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certified product. RHI must be issued with a MSC certificate.
Method 1 UK
RHI must be accredited by MCS installers and then after quotation you apply to Home Energy Scotland for grant accompanied by Energy processing certificate.
Method 2 Scotland
Homeowners will be able to apply for 75% cash back up to the value of £7,500 towards the cost of a renewable heating and further 40% cashback up to £6,000 for efficiency measures. Apply now. It is a first come first served basis until the end of financial year 2021.
